I would have loved to have heard what Dicky Durbin had to say. I remember when she had long Curly Hair and she pointed her finger at congress and she told them I am more afraid of you, you scare me. Chuck Schummer's face would have melted Ice Cream that day, in the 90's when they were proposing their gun control back then.
Suzanne is a women of complete courage in a world gone completely mad. Dick Durbin should be so ashamed of himself coming from illinois.

The English version of Pravda (yeah it’s still around) thought it necessary to remind us of the historical fact that in 1917 the first move the Red Army made was to take away all privately held guns. This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently. . Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases. As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack. What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or "talking to them", it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.
Feinstein turned to load her own pistol just in case this "right-wing-nut" had a gun ... democrat idiots ...

I did notice that when she spoke most of the senators had left and so had most of the media. I guess this is because what she is saying does not fit Chuck Schumer's and Diane Fienstine's agenda, so they will not be there.
Bottom line - the democrats' agenda has nothing to do with reducing criminal activity. It is directed at curtailing the liberty of free, independent people. It is a shameless power grab to further destroy the Constitution and erect the tyranny of the State.
Time for patriots to stand and fight. It is time to remove these traitors from office.
Sure, and you'll never see Obama meeting with this woman to hear what she has to say. Gun control is about disarming the American public. It has nothing to do with crime, and THAT is the dirty little secret liberals will never admit.
Based on her argument, she should be charging all the gun-grabber liberal extremist known politicians with the murder of her parents, for their actions restricting her right to defend herself.
Would love to see her sit down in front of Feinstein and make the old bat squirm. But Suzanna Hupp will just be dimissed by the liberals who will find some way to slander her.

I would have stopped my testimony and just stared at Feinstein for as long as it took for her to be the center of everyone's attention. Feinstein is an obnoxious blot of excrement and someone should really clean up the mess before it stinks up the whole room.
An extremely convincing case for the 2nd amendment. HOWEVER, all the convincing cases for the 2nd Amendment will have NO effect because the left's move toward gun control has NEVER been about safety. There is ONE issue driving this push, and that is; Socialism CANNOT succeed with an armed populace. I just wish people would STOP engaging in the safety issue of all this. It is a red herring to take eyes off the TRUE PURPOSE; disarmament.

socialism cannot succeed because it is a suicidal society. yes, they can gain total control, but then they drive their nation into oblivion. Sometimes it takes a while, and sometimes it takes longer than it should (North Korea) because artificial external support lets them continue beyond the point where their citizens would have long ago starved to death.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but is what you are saying basically this; Socialism cannot succeed in the end, armed populace or not? But, to satisfy themselves that it is not going to succeed, they have to go through all the required (so they think) motions before they realize it is the failure that it's always been? What I'm saying is; there are plenty of socialist societies that are that only because the populace has no way to defend against it. If they are armed, they pose a threat to those that would impose socialism. Disarmed, they have no choice. That it is not a successful ideology is beside the point. Neither was naziism. If the populace is not a threat, those who perceive themselves as elite will force whatever they want down the throats of those that cannot fight back. I think he means, socialism cannot succeed, period. Like communism, it is self destuctive. But they can't complete the destruction until they disarm the people. Once disarmed, the destruction can be finalized, but there is no 'success' down that path.

People like Dianne Feinstein and Barack Obama are leftists and they don't care about us having the ability to protect ourselves. When Obama was a state senator in Illinois he voted against a bill that would allow a homeowner to protect himself in his own home with a firearm. This is how warped Obama and Feinstein are even as they have men carrying a plethora of weapons to protect them. Millions of Americans will defy any legislation produced by these leftists and our families will live.
If the government wants to limit how many rounds are in a clip, then they also need to limit every rich and important person to one body guard with the same limited clip the rest of us have. After all, no one needs more than one body guard. Suzanna is a great American to speak out on this issue, and her testimony is compelling.
Just a thought....If today's Liberal Professors...Teachers..and the so called Educated Elite were around when the Founding Fathers were forming this Country our Declaration of Independence and The Constitution...Our Founders would have considered them "The Village Idiots"....

I know Dan, and you made the better point, I was just trying to add that they would have been the ones standing in the town meetings saying" The taxes are necessary." and "The King has all of our best interests at heart". Ms. Hupp's testimony will be ignored by the idiot hypocrite gun grabbers (Feinstein, Durbin, other leftists) now, just as it was back in 1992. It is not a false belief that if all are unarmed then shootings won't happen. It is only about controlling the masses, and they cannot control those that can fight back.

I have listened to her tell her story a few times, and it still tears me up. I share her outrage at her legislators and was disappointed to see Dick Durbin appearing unmoved - uncaring - and uninterested.
The first time she testified before a Congressional committee in 1992, Chucky boy was in attendance. He wasn't moved by her testimony then and he is one who helped push through and vote for the Clinton era "assault" weapons ban. Most politicians serve themselves and their own interests. They steal away our freedom and liberty and then expect their constituents to grovel and scrape at their feet. Come election time they put on their little shows and expect the same people they gave the shaft to vote for their sorry, worthless a$$es. The pathetic part about it is that some of those jokers in Congress get re-elected time and again because their constituents are too mind-numbed to believe there is an alternative out there.
Heard a couple of times but this is the first time I heard about law enforcement being in the next building and how their tied hands likely lead to the death of her mother and others.
What do you expect from little dicky, it didn't enrich him in any way, why should he be interested?
